Bernard Chidzero
Board Chairman

Mr Bernard Thomas Rugare Chidzero has been appointed as a Non-Executive Director and Board Chairperson for Steward Bank Limited with effect from 1 June 2016. Mr Chidzero holds a Bachelor of Business Studies (University of Zimbabwe) and a Masters in Business Administration (IMD, Lausanne). Mr Chidzero brings to the Board his substantial experience in private equity investment and strategic business management. Currently, he is the Chief Executive Officer of Agis Investment (Proprietary) Limited.

Krison V. Chirairo
Acting CEO

Kris is the CEO of Econet Enterprises. He joined Econet Wireless as Chief Accountant in 1998. In 2001 he was posted to Econet`s operations in Nigeria where he set up the Finance department. He returned to Zimbabwe in January 2004 as Deputy Chief Finance Officer. He was appointed Financial Director of Econet Wireless Zimbabwe Limited in May 2004. He is a registered Public Accountant and is a fellow member of both the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators. Kris holds an MBA from the University of Zimbabwe.

John Gould

John qualified as a Chartered Accountant 1990 with Ernest & Young before becoming a partner in 1982 and he has vast experience in strategic planning and business rescue which he gained operating in the USA and other African countries. Currently, John is the Chief Executive Officer of Econet Capital responsible for the strategic development of the non telecommunications based growth of the group. Before joining Econet, John was the Chief Financial Officer/ Strategic Development Consultant of Telemedia Private Limited.

Dr Nancy N. Chadehumbe

Nancy Chadehumbe is an internationally trained banker and a banking risk specialist with extensive experience in the financial services sector including; Zimbabwe Banking Corporation (Zimbank), TA Bank, First Rand Bank, Citibank and Credit Agricole (Calyon). As a social entrepreneur, she pioneered and is currently running the Ulwazi Express program, a vehicle for Educational Interventions for sustained poverty eradication. Nancy is the former Chairperson of the board of The Investments Analysts Society of Southern Africa Fund. She holds a B.Sc (Economics) Honours, MBA (Cum Laude), qualification in Financial Risk Management (FRM) by the Global Association of Risk Professionals, Dip. Law and Tax and is a Doctoral student in Business Administration focusing on financial risk management.

Dr Peter M. Mbizvo

Dr Peter Mbizvo is a medical practitioner and owns surgeries in Harare and Bindura. He was also the Country Manager Zimbabwe for Africa Invest, a Swedish Private Equity Fund. Dr Mbizvo is also a Board member of Bindura University of Science and Technology and The Joshua Nkomo Scholarship Fund. Prior to going into private practice in 1991, Dr Mbizvo was employed as a senior medical officer by the Zimbabwe Defence Forces. He was engaged in a medical advisory capacity for several companies and organizations in Zimbabwe between 2010 and 2012. He holds a Bachelor of Medical Sciences from Edinburgh University, Scotland and a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery degree from the University of Zimbabwe.

Kwaku Akosah-Bempah

Kwaku is the Chief Financial Officer and Finance Director of Metialon Corporation Group, a position he assumed in 2006. Kwaku worked as a Finance Officer at Ghana National Petroleum Corporation from 1990. He then Joined the Ashanti Goldfields Company in 1994 were he worked in different managerial capacities from the Finance Director, General Manager Corporate Finance until he became a special assistant to the Chief Executive Officer. Kwaku was then appointed the Chief Financial Officer of Anglo Gold Ashanti Ltd in 2004. He holds an MBA in Finance and International Business from Columbia Business School, USA and a Bachelor of Commerce Honours Degree from the University of Cape Coast, Ghana. He is also a Chartered Accountant.

Christopher Maswi

Christopher is the founder and Managing Director of Fairvalue Management Consultancy (Private) Limited, a financial management consultancy company, which was set up in 2005 which provides services to a number of Blue chip clients in Zimbabwe. He has held senior managerial and executive positions in a number of companies among them Deloitie & Touche, Tobacco Processors Zimbabwe and PG Industries. He is board member of TNAM and audit commitiee member of Steward Bank Limited. Christopher holds a Bachelor of accountancy degree from the University of Zimbabwe and a Master of business Leadership (MBL) from UNISA. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Zimbabwe (ICAZ).

Darlington T. Mandivenga
